Meet Li, Owner and Maker
Li Harrison hand makes durable origami jewelry - a wearable art.
Li lives with Lupus, POTS, Ehlers-danlos Syndrome, c-PTSD, MCAS, and severe Dysautonomia. They live with their service dog (left), Molly. Li enjoys spending time exploring new parks in Seattle, and reading science fiction.
Li is a chronically ill person who makes baubles.
Why Paper?
At age 15 Li was taught to fold paper cranes at an after school class. This quickly became their healthiest coping mechanism for managing mental and physical illness. Folding paper and learning origami continues to be a mindfulness practice as Li approaches their 30s.
